| Another one of my most recent boxes! This is made from an antique clock frame that I cannibalized and turned into...this. The clock face (Mercedes, Quartz) is still present, and on is rests a Pale Morpho butterfly, female. Surrounding are small bits and pieces of clock- cogs and gears and so on- of crafter quality. The back of this piece is thick composite board and was replaced from the original back piece (which had a bit hole in it!) and all the inner workings of the clock have been removed, except for the face. Box is hardwood and brass, approximately 12x12" |
